Welcome to Lockleaze Neighbourhood Trust…
Lockleaze Neighbourhood Trust (LNT) is a small charity based in Lockleaze, where we:
- Manage the Cameron Centre
- Produce the local newsletter called Unlocked
- Run and support activity groups at the Cameron Centre, for many people in the community
- Put on and support community events (more information on the what’s on page)
Our three main aims are:
- To identify community needs and to work with the local community to address those needs
- To support and encourage local initiatives to enable local people to develop their abilities and self confidence
- To work with statutory agencies and other charitable sources of funding to maximise investment in Lockleaze.

Tea and Talk:
Tuesday 11th March 2pm - 4pm, Jack Knight House, Dovercourt Road. Tai Chi Taster session - Tai chi combines deep breathing and relaxation with slow and gentle movements. Originally developed as a martial art in 13th-century China, tai chi is today practised around the world as a health-promoting exercise. Studies have shown that tai chi can help people aged 65 and over to reduce stress, improve balance and general mobility, and increase muscle strength in the legs. Free 2 Day Basic Horticulture Course:
At Lockleaze Adventure Playground, 13th and 14th March. Do you like gardening and being outdoors? Do you want to know more about local volunteering opportunities? If so then come and join us at Lockleaze Adventure Playground for 2 days of working on a local green space improvement project! Bring a Plant:
Tuesday 8th April, 12:30 - 3:30pm at the Langley Centre,. Bring a plant to put in our new accessible community garden and meet other green fingered members of the community. Refreshments provided.

Marie Curie Daffodil Appeal.
Marie Curie Cancer Care provides high quality nursing, totally free to people with terminal cancer and other illnesses the chance of dying at home, supported by their families. However in order to carry on doing the fantastic job they do, they need donations. So, this month, why not wear a Marie Curie daffodil and make a small donation. Service Changes at NBAC.
Due to Legal Aid funding cuts, North Bristol Advice Centre have changed the way they deliver advice services in North Bristol and South Gloucestershire. In Lockleaze, the Advice Drop-In is now being held on Mondays from 9:30 to 12:30 at our offices on Gainsborough Square. Their Debt Drop-In is still held on Thursdays 9:30-12:30. M Shed Trip.
Friday 28th March 1pm—5pm (including travel time), M Shed Lockleaze Display Opening. Some of you attended in November to put together the Lockleaze exhibition now we can go back and see our work on display as well as the rest of the exhibition. Call Janie on 01179 515 751 to book a place.
