COLLECT

Lockleaze has lots of things going on, lots of activities happening and lots of resources that can be used in the area.

It is very easy to not know about these things and so we hope to collect & gather information, statistics, reports in order for it to be used by the community.

We hope to provide spaces that will collect people together in order to enjoy themselves, learn new skills, share experiences and hear about the area around them.

We promise not to collect these things for our own purposes but for the good of Lockleaze.

Lockleaze needs people to work together in order to achieve good things for the people in Lockleaze.

We want to share our resources and assets in order to improve the quality of life in the area, provide better services to residents and share our hopes for the community around us.

Lockleaze Neighbourhood Trust exists to encourage groups to meet together, share their hopes, their resources and become partners in improving the community.

We also want those who use our buildings, join our projects and live and work in our area to share their ideas with us so that we can continue working with Lockleaze, not assuming that we know everything.

INVOLVE

Everything is better when it is done together. All that we do needs to involve the community, involve the people who are affected by the decision.

We want to involve local people in our plans for the future, what groups to trial, what classes to offer, what events to hold. We want others to be involved too in the design and plan for Lockleaze.

If we involve the people around us, the information we have collected and shared the hopes for the area, we have better opportunities to bring funding into Lockleaze.

We ask the community to support us in our work for the area by involving us in the life of the community and working with us to collect, share and involve all that we have and all that we are.
